Purpose of the Role

The primary purpose of the Salesman Driver position is to ensure excellent service delivery and drive bakery sales growth through accurate and timely deliveries, customer relationship management, collection of payments, and effective management of bakery sales assets.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction while contributing to sales performance and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

• Delivering bakery products to customers accurately and on time.
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Growing sales within allocated routes and customer accounts.
• Collecting customer payments where required.
• Managing bakery sales assets responsibly.
• Ensuring excellent customer service during every delivery.
• Maintaining accurate delivery and sales records.
• Promoting company products and identifying sales opportunities.
• Supporting overall sales and distribution objectives.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Matric / Grade 12 qualification.
• Valid Code 10 (C1) driver’s licence.
• Valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit).
• Driver’s licence must be at least 3 years old.
• 1 to 3 years’ experience in a sales or retail environment.
