This role requires an individual who is highly skilled, safety-conscious, and able to meet delivery deadlines while maintaining excellent customer service.

Job Overview

As a Heavy Vehicle Driver, your primary responsibility will be to safely transport products and ensure their secure delivery to the correct destination in the most efficient way possible. You will be tasked with loading and unloading products, adhering to safety regulations, and maintaining proper documentation for all deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safe transportation of products to the correct destinations.
• Loading and unloading goods efficiently while adhering to best practices.
• Administering delivery documentation to ensure accurate records.
• Following all relevant legislation and safety regulations.
• Customer interaction: Ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a professional demeanor with clients.
• Keeping vehicles clean and properly maintained.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 10 (Matric not required but advantageous)
• Code 14 driver’s license with a valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit)
• 1-2 years of experience as a heavy vehicle driver
• Physical fitness to handle the demands of loading and unloading
• Ability to work extended hours, including weekends, when required
• Good communication skills in both Afrikaans and English

• Strong attention to detail, especially with the correct loading and offloading of products.
• Physical capability to perform the job duties.
• Ability to maintain good relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Excellent concentration for long hours on the road, ensuring safe delivery.
