Key Responsibilities

As a Jonsson Workwear Chauffeur, you will be expected to:

1. Transport Executives and Guests: Safely drive the CEO, business directors, and other high-profile guests to meetings, site visits, and events across southern Africa. Your primary responsibility will be to provide a comfortable and safe journey, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
2. Deliver Exceptional Service: Go beyond transportation by ensuring each passenger has a memorable experience. This includes assisting with luggage, offering refreshments if available, and maintaining a courteous, respectful, and discreet approach.
3. Flexibility and Adaptability: You’ll need to be dependable and willing to adapt your schedule at short notice. Our executives may have changing itineraries, so flexibility is key to success in this role.
4. Route Planning and Navigation: Use advanced in-vehicle route-planning technology to optimize travel time, avoid traffic, and ensure timely arrival at each destination. Familiarity with various routes across southern Africa will be highly beneficial.
5. Operate Multiple Vehicle Types: Be comfortable and skilled in driving a variety of vehicle types that may be required based on the occasion and the number of passengers.
6. Support Business Tours and Teams: Provide reliable transportation for business tours, travelling teams, and visiting employees. Your role is crucial in ensuring that all Jonsson Workwear staff and guests are transported safely and efficiently.
7. Maintain Vehicle Standards: Ensure that the vehicle is kept clean, presentable, and fully equipped for every journey. Regularly check that maintenance, servicing, and fueling requirements are met so that each trip goes smoothly.

Essential Requirements

To excel in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Valid Code 10 License with PDP: A professional driving permit is mandatory for this position, allowing you to legally transport passengers.
• Extensive Chauffeur Experience: Previous experience transporting executives, high-profile individuals, or groups is essential. You should be familiar with the professional conduct expected in a corporate environment.
• Knowledge of Southern African Routes: Familiarity with major cities, regional routes, and popular travel corridors within southern Africa will be a significant advantage.
