Key Responsibilities and Duties

1. Transporting Stock to Clients:
   • You will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of agricultural stock, primarily seedlings, to clients across various locations.

2. Inter-Nursery Stock Transport:
   • Often, stock and materials need to be moved between TWK Agri’s nurseries, and you will handle these transfers with efficiency and care.

3. Transporting Personnel:
   • In addition to stock, you may be tasked with transporting employees or clients as needed.

5. Compliance with Road Safety Regulations:
   • As a driver, your utmost responsibility is to adhere to all road safety rules and regulations.
   • This includes staying within legal speed limits, obeying traffic signals, and ensuring that the vehicle is in proper working condition.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this position, the candidate should meet the following qualifications and possess the necessary skills:

• Educational Background: Minimum Matric/Grade 12.
• Experience in Transportation: At least two years of experience in transporting goods or stock. Familiarity with the agriculture sector and the specific needs of transporting plants and seedlings would be advantageous.
• Driver’s License: Valid Code 10 driver’s license with a valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP). Candidates with a Code 14 license are highly encouraged to apply, though it is not a strict requirement.

• Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively in English, particularly in regard to completing paperwork, following delivery instructions, and liaising with clients.
