Job Advert Summary:
Unitrans is seeking Professional Bus Drivers with proven experience to join our team in Worcester. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently on scheduled services over established routes.

Your role will involve ensuring passenger comfort, adhering to traffic laws, and maintaining the highest standards of safety. If you hold the appropriate license (CE – G, CE – PG, or C – G) and a valid PrDP, we want to hear from you!

This position is part of a non-subsidized commercial contract, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to our mission of safe and reliable passenger transport.

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Licenses: Valid Public Services Driving License (PG) and PrDP.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Skills: Mastery of defensive and preventive driving techniques, strong knowledge of traffic laws, and a commitment to safety.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate buses safely and efficiently, ensuring passengers arrive on time.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections and report any vehicle deviations or malfunctions.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate logbooks and report incidents or accidents promptly.
• Participate in safety training sessions and daily safety briefings.
• Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and well-maintained at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional attitude.
• Follow authorized routes and stops, avoiding unauthorized deviations.
• Use seat belts and ensure all passengers do the same.
• Secure vehicles properly after each trip (e.g., removing keys, using wheel chocks).
