Fleet Administrator Vacancy in Midrand

Fidelity Fire Solutions, a division of Fidelity Services Group, is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Fleet Administrator to join its team in Midrand. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing fleet administration functions, ensuring vehicle compliance, coordinating maintenance schedules, and supporting the efficient operation of the company’s vehicle fleet.

This position is ideal for candidates with fleet management experience and strong administrative skills.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in fleet administration, fleet management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience using fleet management systems and software.
  • Good understanding of company policies and procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance processes and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Fleet Administration

  • Maintain accurate records for all company vehicles.
  • Manage vehicle registration, licensing, insurance, and maintenance records.
  • Ensure all fleet documentation is up to date and compliant.

Vehicle Maintenance and Compliance

  • Schedule and coordinate vehicle servicing and repairs.
  • Monitor vehicle maintenance programmes to minimise downtime.
  • Ensure all vehicles are licensed and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate vehicle replacements and disposals when necessary.

Fleet Monitoring and Reporting

  • Track fuel consumption, mileage, and fleet performance indicators.
  • Prepare fleet reports and maintain accurate operational records.
  • Monitor fleet costs and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.

Inventory and Vendor Management

  • Manage inventory levels of fleet-related equipment and supplies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with service providers and vendors.
  • Coordinate procurement and service delivery requirements.

Driver and Traffic Fine Administration

  • Provide administrative support to fleet drivers.
  • Manage traffic fine administration and follow-up processes.
  • Ensure adherence to company fleet policies and procedures.
