About the Role

MB Transport, a division of Unitrans Passenger, is seeking experienced and professional Bus Drivers to join our team. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently on scheduled services over established routes. Your role will involve ensuring passenger safety, adhering to traffic laws, and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate buses to transport passengers on scheduled routes.
• Ensure passengers arrive at their destinations on time.
• Adhere to traffic laws, speed limits, and company policies.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections and report any vehicle defects or malfunctions.
• Maintain accurate logbooks and records of trips, incidents, and fuel usage.
• Participate in safety training and DSS (Driver Safety Standards) sessions.
• Ensure the bus is clean, fueled, and in good working condition at all times.
• Report incidents, accidents, or near misses to management immediately.
• Follow customer-specific SMS policies and procedures.
• Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor with passengers and colleagues.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Licenses:
  • Valid Public Services Driving License (PG).
  • PrDP (Professional Driving Permit).
• Experience:
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Bus Driver or in a similar role.
• Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of professionalism.
