Key Responsibilities:
- Safely deliver goods to clients while adhering to delivery schedules.
- Ensure the vehicle is neatly packed to prevent damages and breakages.
- Supervise and assist with loading goods onto the vehicle.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects.
- Maintain the vehicle in optimal condition, reducing costs and ensuring reliability.
- Handle delivery notes and obtain proper authorizations.
- Collect COD (cash on delivery) payments when required.
- Provide excellent customer service and uphold the company’s values and culture.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Educational Background: Grade 12 (Matric).
- Licenses: Valid Code 10 (HV) or Code 8 (LV) driver’s license for vehicles weighing between 9001 and 16,000 kg.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant driving experience.
