About the Position
We are hiring Professional Code 14 Drivers with substantial experience handling large truck loads across different vehicle weights.
This position requires drivers who can handle 24-ton, 30-ton, and 36-ton trucks for local and potential cross-border transportation assignments.

Key Requirements – Please Read Carefully
To ensure that we hire the best, we have established strict minimum requirements. Only applicants who meet these criteria will be considered:
- Valid Code 14 (EC) Driver’s License
- License must be at least 2 years old for direct Code 14 experience.
- If your Code 14 license is 1 year old, we will consider your application if you previously held a Code 10 license for at least 3 years.
- Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
- A valid PDP is required, with at least 3 months remaining at the time of your application.
- Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of truck driving experience on heavy loads (24-ton, 30-ton, or 36-ton).
- Contactable references must be provided to verify your work history and experience.
- Age Requirement
- Only applicants between 25 and 65 years old will be considered.
- South African Citizenship
- This position is open to RSA citizens only. Original ID documents and licenses must be presented at the time of application.
- Personal Documents
- Please bring your original ID and license documents, as well as your passport if you have one, for verification purposes on the application day.

Job Responsibilities
As a Code 14 Truck Driver, your role will involve:
- Transporting Goods Safely and Efficiently
- Load, transport, and unload goods safely, ensuring all cargo is properly secured for each journey.
- Adhere to assigned routes and schedules, prioritizing timely delivery while following road safety regulations.
- Vehicle Checks and Maintenance
- Perform daily inspections on the vehicle to ensure it is roadworthy and safe.
- Regularly check for maintenance needs, reporting any issues to the logistics manager.
- Monitor and maintain vehicle cleanliness, both inside and out, ensuring a professional appearance at all times.
- Accurate Documentation
- Complete trip sheets, delivery logs, and other required documentation accurately and on time.
- Ensure that all necessary documents (e.g., delivery notes, logs, and client signatures) are in order before departing on a trip and after delivery.
- Route Planning and Adaptability
- Review and plan optimal routes for each journey, accounting for road conditions, delivery timelines, and load requirements.
- Make quick decisions and adapt routes if necessary to avoid delays or road hazards.
- Client Interaction
- Engage professionally with clients, ensuring a positive experience and representing the company in a respectful and courteous manner.
- Handle queries or complaints calmly and ensure that any issues are reported promptly to the logistics manager.
