Purpose of the Role

Senwes Equipment is seeking a skilled Code 14 Driver to join the team. This role focuses on ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and transportation of stock to outlets. The ideal candidate will uphold safety and regulatory standards while maintaining the vehicle in excellent condition to ensure timely and secure deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

1. Vehicle Operation

• Perform transportation tasks as assigned.
• Receive and execute instructions from the branch manager.
• Ensure punctual and accurate delivery of loads to designated destinations.
• Securely load goods to ensure safe transit and prevent damage.
• Comply with all traffic laws and company regulations.
• Submit invoices and fuel slips on a daily basis.
• Maintain proper tyre pressure and ensure the vehicle license disk is valid and visible.
• Safely park and store the vehicle.
• Execute ad hoc driving tasks as needed.

2. Vehicle Maintenance

• Provide regular feedback on vehicle performance.
• Handle delivery documents, including invoices, fuel slips, and accident reports.
• Conduct basic vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness.

3. Stock Distribution and Delivery

• Verify and load the correct stock quantities and types onto the vehicle.
• Safely load and unload goods at delivery points.
• Collect mail and parcels as required.
• Obtain proof of delivery by collecting signatures upon receipt.
• Deposit received cash daily according to company procedures.

4. General Duties

• Clean and maintain the vehicle as needed.
• Provide additional support for operational tasks as instructed.

Qualifications and Licenses

• Valid Code 14 Driver’s License.
