Job Summary:

As a CDL A Local Owner Operator Truck Driver with Roadrunner, you’ll make local deliveries, building relationships with our customers and enjoying daily home time. We offer a supportive environment with consistent freight, steady rates, and numerous benefits designed to support your career goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Make local deliveries to customers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
• Ensure timely and safe delivery of freight.
• Manage your own schedule within the Monday-Friday workweek.
• Participate in virtual orientation sessions.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL-A driver’s license.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• 18 months of CDL-A experience.

Skills:

• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet delivery schedules.

Other Requirements:

• Must own your equipment: Day cab or 24′ or 26′ straight truck with liftgate and pallet jack.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an Owner Operator.
• Knowledge of the local delivery area.

Salary and Benefits:

• Top performers earn $130,000-$156,000 annually.
• Up to $3,000 sign-on bonus for local owner operators in select areas (speak to a recruiter).
