Job Description:

Join the BUCO Voortrekker team as a Code 10 Driver, where your main responsibility will be to ensure the timely and secure delivery of goods. This role is pivotal in maintaining high customer service standards and ensuring that deliveries are handled with care and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering Goods: Ensure safe and on-time delivery of products to customers.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily inspection checks, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and report any defects immediately.
• Loading and Unloading: Supervise and assist with the loading of goods to prevent damages and breakages, ensuring the vehicle is neatly packed.
• Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, handling delivery notes, and authorizing delivery receipts.
• Cost Efficiency: Take measures to reduce vehicle-related costs by maintaining the vehicle in optimal condition.
• COD Collections: Responsible for collecting COD (Cash on Delivery) monies and ensuring correct quantities and supplies are delivered.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: Grade 12 certificate.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Skills:
  • Good communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well within a team.
  • Technical expertise, including product knowledge and value.
