Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Code 14 Truck Driver to join our team in George. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys driving, delivering excellent customer service, and contributing to a meaningful cause by ensuring the smooth operation of our blood donor clinics.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinic Support: Assist in carrying, assembling, and disassembling clinic equipment at various locations.
• Donor Interaction: Engage with donors, ensuring they are comfortable and informed throughout the donation process.
  • Prepare donors for the donation process.
  • Monitor donors during and after donation, addressing any adverse reactions.
  • End the bleeding process safely and efficiently.
• Transportation: Safely transport staff and clinic equipment to and from clinic venues, ensuring all items are handled with care.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, demonstrating a friendly disposition and willingness to go the extra mile.
• Teamwork: Work closely with other team members to ensure the clinic operates smoothly and efficiently.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Matric Certificate
• License:
  • Code EC1 or EC driver’s license without endorsements
  • Valid PrDP with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience
• Experience: Previous experience in a customer service environment is essential.
• Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Accuracy in data collection
  • Attention to detail
  • Computer literacy (Course completion is advantageous)
  • Physically fit to handle and move heavy clinic equipment
• Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to relocate to George, Western Cape
  • Flexibility to work variable hours, including shifts, weekends, and on-call duties
  • First Aid Qualification (Advantageous)
