Position Overview:

We are seeking experienced and responsible cross-border truck drivers to join Team Strauss. Your main role will be to transport goods across multiple countries in Southern Africa, ensuring safe, timely, and professional delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transporting freight across the Southern African region.
• Adhering to all road and safety regulations during long-haul trips.
• Maintaining the vehicle in good working condition and ensuring it is roadworthy at all times.
• Completing all required paperwork, including delivery logs and border documentation.
• Representing Strauss Logistics in a professional manner at all times, ensuring customer satisfaction with prompt and secure deliveries.
• Communicating effectively with the logistics team to manage routes and delivery schedules.

Driver Requirements:

• Valid Passport: You must have a valid passport for cross-border transportation.
• License: Class 2
• Clean Driving Record: A clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
• Defensive Driving Skills: A valid Defensive Driving Certificate is an advantage.
• Physical Fitness: The ability to handle long hours of driving and manage the physical demands of the job.
• Effective Communication Skills: Proficiency in English for smooth communication with the team and border officials.
