Are you an experienced Ultra-heavy Motor Vehicle Driver looking for a permanent role? PPC in Dwaalboom, Limpopo, is offering a great opportunity for a skilled Code 14 driver to join their team.   • Educational Qualification: Grade 12 / National Certificate.
  • License: Code EC (Code 14) with a valid PrDP.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years driving ultra-heavy vehicles and Superlink/Interlink combinations, preferably with dry bulk or cement transport.
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Knowledge of defensive driving techniques.
    • Familiarity with vehicle inspection, emergency reporting, and fire extinguisher use.
    • Availability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
    • Own reliable transport to and from work.
    • Clean criminal record and medically fit.

Duties and Responsibilities:

As an Ultra-heavy Motor Vehicle Driver, your core tasks will include:

  • Preparing vehicles for trips and conducting thorough inspections.
  • Safely loading, transporting, and offloading goods, following proper techniques.
  • Completing all necessary documentation for each trip.
  • Following instructions from supervisors and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintaining cleanliness of vehicles, uniform, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Undergoing medical evaluations, training modules, and practical driving assessments as required.
