Overview:
PepsiCo, one of the world’s leading food and beverage companies, is on the lookout for a dedicated Code 10 Driver Salesman to join our Witbank DC Bread Division. This role is crucial in ensuring that our iconic brands reach our valued customers efficiently and on time. Key Responsibilities:

• Timely Deliveries: Ensure the prompt and accurate delivery of goods to various customers on your assigned route.
• Cash Management: Handle cash on your route, ensuring all transactions are in line with company policies and accurately recorded.
• Customer Engagement: Build strong customer relationships by providing exceptional service and identifying local market opportunities.
• Reconciliation of Driver’s Books: Keep a meticulous record of sales and deliveries, reconciling the driver’s books at the end of each day.
• Route Accountability: Take full ownership of your allocated route, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of all goods.
• Minimize Shortages: Ensure that delivery shortages are kept to a minimum, and all goods are delivered in full.
• Collaboration with Sales Team: Liaise with the Sales Representative to address any customer-related concerns or opportunities.
• Crate Management: Maintain accurate control and accountability for the crates used during deliveries.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

• Educational Requirement: Matric or NQF3 qualification.
• Driver’s License: Valid Code 10 Driver’s License with a Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
• Mathematics Skills: Strong numeracy skills to manage cash transactions and reconcile books.
• Languages: Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English and at least one other official South African language.
• Customer Service: A solid understanding of customer service and a commitment to providing top-notch service to clients.
