BUCO Hermanus is seeking a reliable and efficient Code 10 Drivers to join our team. The main goal is to provide a high-quality delivery service to our clients, ensuring goods are delivered on time, securely, and without any damage or shortages. Key Responsibilities:

• Delivery of Goods: Safely deliver building materials and supplies to clients, ensuring all items arrive in perfect condition.
• Efficient Vehicle Loading: Supervise and assist with the correct and careful loading of goods onto the vehicle, ensuring no breakages occur during transportation.
• Neat and Secure Packing: Ensure that all items are neatly and securely packed to prevent any damage while in transit.
• Daily Vehicle Inspection: Conduct thorough daily inspection checks on the vehicle to identify and report any defects or maintenance issues that need attention.
• Maintain the Vehicle: Regularly clean and maintain the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in optimal working condition, extending the vehicle’s longevity.
• Report Defects: Promptly report any mechanical defects or issues encountered during trips to ensure the vehicle remains roadworthy and safe.
• Accurate Deliveries: Verify delivery quantities and ensure the correct supplies are delivered to each client, adhering to delivery schedules and customer expectations.
• Cost Reduction: Drive in a fuel-efficient manner to reduce overall costs and ensure the vehicle is operating efficiently.
• Delivery Note Authorization: Collect delivery authorizations and any necessary signatures from clients to confirm successful deliveries.
• Collecting COD Payments: Collect cash on delivery (COD) payments from clients when required, ensuring all monies are correctly accounted for and returned to the office.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent service to all customers, addressing their concerns politely and professionally while upholding the company’s values and reputation.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Education: Grade 12 / Matric
• License: Valid Code 10 driver’s license (Heavy Vehicle) and Code 8 driver’s license (Light Vehicle) for vehicles below 9000 kg.
• Experience: At least 2 years of relevant driving experience delivering goods in a similar role.
• Skills: Ability to handle deliveries efficiently while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.
