As a Fleet Controller, you’ll be responsible for coordinating and monitoring our fleet’s activities, ensuring the smooth transportation of goods from our facility to our customers. You’ll work closely with drivers, the factory, and customers to address any issues that arise, maintain our high standards for safety, and optimize fleet utilization.
What Does a Fleet Controller Do?
In this role, you will:
- Coordinate Fleet Operations: This involves scheduling trips, tracking vehicles using GPS systems, and monitoring delivery progress. You’ll ensure that all trips are running on time and that vehicles are utilized efficiently to minimize costs and maximize productivity.
- Supervise Drivers: Acting as a point of contact for drivers, you will offer support and guidance to address any challenges they may encounter on the road. You’ll provide clear instructions, resolve any on-the-job issues, and maintain communication to keep everyone aligned with the company’s goals.
- Handle Administrative Tasks: The role requires meticulous attention to detail, as you’ll be responsible for recording trip data, capturing breakdown information, managing vehicle maintenance records, and overseeing all paperwork related to fleet operations.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

- Experience:
