Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Code 10 Driver to transport goods, products, or materials to specified destinations using a rigid vehicle not exceeding 16,000 kg. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver with a commitment to safety, efficiency, and excellent customer service.

Minimum Requirements

• Educational Qualification: Grade 12 / Matric.
• Licensing:
  • Valid Code 10 driver’s licence with PrDP.
  • PrDP “D” is required for operating Dangerous Goods.
  • Code 14 licence is advantageous.
• Experience: At least 3 years of heavy vehicle driving experience.
• Clean driving and criminal record.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Trip Preparation: Ensure vehicles are prepared and inspected before departure.
• Vehicle Operation: Safely operate heavy-duty vehicles according to company and road regulations.
• Documentation Management: Handle all dispatch and delivery documentation accurately, ensuring proper transfer of goods.
• Goods Accountability: Take responsibility for all goods being transported, ensuring they are delivered in excellent condition.
• Roadworthiness: Verify the vehicle’s roadworthiness before leaving the depot.
• Flexibility: Be prepared to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
• Compliance: Follow all reasonable instructions from the supervisor and adhere to company policies.
