About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Petroleum Tanker Driver to join our dynamic team in Alrode/Alberton. This is a unique opportunity to operate ultra-heavy-duty vehicles and play a critical role in the efficient and safe delivery of petroleum products.

Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Preparation: Ensure all vehicles are fully prepared and roadworthy before embarking on trips.
- Safe Operation: Operate ultra-heavy-duty vehicles (with a gross vehicle mass exceeding 25,000kg) in compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Pre- and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after each trip to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Documentation Management: Handle all necessary documentation, from dispatch to customer delivery and back to the distribution center.
- Accountability: Take full responsibility for the roadworthiness of the vehicle when leaving the depot and ensure all transported goods are accounted for.
- Flexibility: Be prepared to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Team Collaboration: Follow all reasonable instructions from supervisors and work collaboratively to achieve operational excellence.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Grade 12 / Matric / NQF Level 4 (Grade 10 / NQF Level 2 will also be considered).
- Licensing: Valid Code EC PrDP with a “D” endorsement for operating dangerous goods (DG) vehicles.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a petroleum tanker driver.
- Driving Record: A clean and safe driving record with no major incidents.
- Criminal Record: A clean criminal record is essential.
