Unitrans, a trusted logistics and supply chain operator, is hiring a skilled Ultra-heavy Motor Vehicle Driver to help distribute goods to various clients in KZN and beyond.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Operate ultra-heavy duty vehicles for long-distance and local deliveries

• Load, transport and offload goods professionally and safely

• Complete all required documentation and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)

• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and operate a fire extinguisher if needed

• Secure loads properly and ensure compliance with the National Road Traffic Act

• Handle customer interactions in a professional and courteous manner

• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, uniform care, and PPE use

• Follow safety procedures and adhere to defensive driving practices

• Open and close tarpaulins, if applicable

• Undergo medical, induction and driving evaluations as required

📋 Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent

• Must be verbally and numerically literate

• Code EC licence with valid PrDP (DGP)

• Minimum 3 years’ experience driving ultra-heavy vehicles

• Must be 25 years or older

• Willing to work weekends, shifts, and public holidays

• No criminal record and proven safe driving history
