🔧 Job Purpose

As a Driver Reliever, you will assist the main Driver/Salesman in delivering products, collecting payments, and maintaining customer relationships. You’ll also play a key role in ensuring the truck’s safety, stock control, and route reconciliation.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Check and verify loaded products per the loading sheet

• Assist with product delivery and offloading to customers

• Collect cash and trays, reconcile stock, and return proof of delivery (PODs)

• Bank collected cash (if applicable) and ensure accurate route recon

• Reverse the truck safely, according to company SOP

• Visit customers along the route and identify new business opportunities

• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards for the vehicle

• Report any accidents immediately

• Maintain good customer service while on route

🎓 Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) Certificate

• Valid Code 10 Driver’s Licence

• Valid PrDP (Professional Driving Permit)

📈 Experience

• 1–2 years of experience in the FMCG sector

• At least 2 years (24 months) of verified driving experience

• Physical stamina for daily offloading and long hours
