Join Skooch Vredendal, a division of Pepkor Lifestyle, as a professional Line Haul Driver. We’re seeking a dependable driver with Code 14 and valid PDP, who can ensure goods are delivered between hubs safely, efficiently and on schedule.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Long-distance transportation of goods between distribution centres and hubs

• Perform daily vehicle inspections (before and after trips)

• Ensure cargo is secured and stable before departure

• Maintain trip logs, mileage, and load details using electronic logging devices (ELDs)

• Adhere to traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies

• Report any mechanical faults, delays, or incidents promptly

• Perform basic troubleshooting and vehicle maintenance

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and follow route schedules

• Deliver excellent customer service by ensuring prompt and safe deliveries

✅ Requirements

• Code 14 Driver’s Licence

• Valid PrDP (Professional Driving Permit)

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in long-haul or regional freight driving

• Clean driving record

• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and ELDs

• Ability to lift, secure, and handle cargo

• Excellent time management and communication skills
