📝 Job Summary

Pepkor Lifestyle’s Skooch Beaufort West division is seeking a professional Line Haul Truck Driver with a valid Code 14 licence and PDP. If you have experience in long-distance logistics and are passionate about road safety and reliable deliveries, this opportunity is for you.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty trucks to transport goods between depots and distribution centres

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain roadworthiness

• Secure loads correctly to avoid shifting or damage

• Maintain detailed logs of hours, mileage, and cargo records using ELD systems

• Ensure compliance with all road safety and transportation regulations

• Communicate delays, breakdowns, or route issues with dispatch

• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting on the road

• Uphold Pepkor’s customer service and safety standards

✅ Minimum Requirements

• Valid Code 14 Driver’s Licence

• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP)

• At least 3 years of long-distance driving experience

• Clean driving record with no serious offences

• Ability to use GPS and digital logging systems

• Strong communication and time management skills

• Physically fit and able to load/unload or secure cargo

➕ Advantageous

• Experience towing trailers or interlinks

• Basic mechanical skills

• Previous experience in the logistics, transport, or FMCG sector
