🧀 About the Role:

Join Lactalis South Africa, a leading name in the dairy FMCG sector, as a Code 14 Tanker Driver at our Bonnievale Plant. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe, hygienic, and timely collection and delivery of raw milk from farms and plants.

✅ Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate

• Valid Code 14 Driver’s Licence with PrDP

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a tanker driver in the FMCG or dairy industry

• Willing to do long-distance routes

• Medically fit as per Occupational Health & Safety standards

• Must be willing to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime

• Able to work at heights

• Fluent in English (written and verbal)

• Strong interpersonal, timekeeping, and teamwork skills

🔧 Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Conduct milk sampling, temperature readings, and Alliserol testing

• Load milk from farms and plants following strict hygiene protocols

• Hook and unhook trailers at safe designated areas

• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and equipment integrity

• Follow proper pumping procedures, stirring, and documentation

• Adhere to traffic laws, company safety policies, Food Safety, NOSA, and Continuous Improvement (CI) standards

• Report deviations, faults, or hazards to the supervisor timeously

• Support the team with ad hoc tasks when required
