Salesman Driver Vacancy in Vereeniging

Premier FMCG is seeking a motivated and results-driven Salesman Driver to join its sales team in Vereeniging. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering bakery products, driving sales growth, managing customer relationships, and ensuring on-time and in-full deliveries.

This role combines driving, sales, and customer service, making it ideal for candidates who enjoy working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
  • Valid Code 10 / C1 Driver’s Licence with PDP (minimum 3 years old).
  • 1–3 years’ experience in a sales, retail, or customer-facing environment.
  • Ability to work in a physically active and pressurised environment.
  • Willingness to work weekends, public holidays, and extended hours when required.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Delivery Operations

  • Deliver bakery products to customers on time and in full (OTIF).
  • Drive sales growth through effective customer engagement.
  • Ensure accurate delivery and collection of payments.
  • Manage daily route sales and delivery schedules.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong trade relationships with customers.
  • Promote products and encourage repeat sales.
  • Handle customer queries professionally and efficiently.
  • Communicate product information clearly and confidently.

Sales Asset and Route Management

  • Manage company sales assets responsibly.
  • Maintain accurate delivery and sales records.
  • Ensure proper handling of stock and payments.
  • Report any discrepancies or issues promptly.
