Job Overview

ACDC Dynamics South Africa, a leading manufacturer, importer and distributor of products in the electrical, electronics, pumps and tools industries, is seeking an experienced and reliable Driver for its Port Elizabeth branch.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and collection of goods, accurate order handling, vehicle maintenance and professional customer service.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• At least 2 years of driving experience.
• Valid Code 10 driver’s licence.
• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP/PrDP).
• Excellent driving record.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Strong navigation and route-planning abilities.
• Effective time management and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of road traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Honest, reliable and responsible attitude.
• Neat and presentable appearance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect customer orders safely, securely and on time.
• Perform other driving-related duties assigned by management.
• Check orders against delivery notes before leaving the premises and again upon arrival at the delivery destination.
• Ensure orders are dispatched accurately and efficiently.
• Plan delivery routes to support efficient service delivery.
• Maintain an up-to-date vehicle trip logbook.
• Keep the company vehicle clean and presentable.
• Maintain the vehicle in accordance with company requirements.
• Comply with all road traffic laws, driving regulations and safety procedures.
• Treat colleagues, clients and customers professionally and respectfully.
• Demonstrate honesty and integrity in all work-related activities.
• Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to support smooth delivery operations.
