Job Description – What You’ll Be Doing
As a Driver at Glencore, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth transportation of materials, employees, and equipment across the mining site. Your responsibilities will include:
- Safe Vehicle Operation: Ensuring that all vehicles and equipment are secure and meet safety standards before driving.
- Employee Transportation: Safely transporting mine workers and other personnel as per site operational requirements.
- Logistics and Transport Duties:
- Loading and transporting PGM concentrate and other mining materials.
- Collecting and delivering samples to various laboratories.
- Transporting spare parts and consumables from suppliers to the site.
- Handling ad hoc deliveries as required by the site manager.
- Work Flexibility: Being available for overtime and standby duties when needed.
- Adherence to Schedules: Following strict transport schedules to ensure on-time deliveries.
This role requires someone with strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to handle the demands of working in a mining environment.
Minimum Job Requirements – Who Should Apply?
