REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12 / Matric / NQF Level 4
• Code EC Driver’s Licence
• PrDP – required to operate Dangerous Goods (DG) vehicles
• Minimum 3 years’ petroleum tanker driving experience
• Safe driving record
• Clean criminal record

DUTIES

• Prepare vehicles for trips
• Operate ultra-heavy-duty vehicles exceeding 25,000 kg GVM/GCM
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Handle delivery and transport documentation
• Take responsibility for vehicle roadworthiness when leaving the depot
• Account for all goods transported to customers
• Work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required
• Follow reasonable instructions from supervisors
