Heymans Kole to Test Code 14 Truck Drivers in Standerton on 5 September
Standerton, Mpumalanga – Heymans Kole, a well-known name in coal transport and logistics, has announced that it will be testing Code 14 / EC truck drivers for employment opportunities on Friday, 5 September 2025 at Farm Vlakfontein along the R546 near Standerton.
According to the company, only the first 150 drivers who arrive at the testing venue will be given the opportunity to participate. Testing will begin promptly at 07:30 AM, with a strict cut-off time of 09:00 AM. Latecomers will not be accommodated.
Strict Requirements for Drivers
To qualify, drivers must meet the following minimum requirements:
- At least 5 years’ link driving experience.
- Minimum of 2 years’ side tipper driving experience.
- Valid Code 14 (EC) licence and a valid PDP (with at least 3 months remaining).
- Valid passport – cross-border driving experience will be considered an advantage.
- Must be a South African citizen with a clean criminal record.
- Age limit of 55 years.
- All applicants must bring their original ID, driver’s licence, and passport on the day.
