As part of our expansion, we are seeking dedicated Professional Long-Distance Drivers to join our team and drive 24-ton, 30-ton, or 36-ton trucks.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet all the following criteria:

1. Valid Code 14 (EC) Licence:
   • Must be at least 2 years old.
   • If your Code 14 is 1 year old, we will consider your application if you previously held a Code 10 licence for at least 3 years.
2. Truck Driving Experience:
   • A minimum of 2 years’ experience driving trucks (24-ton or larger).
   • References from previous employers that can verify your driving experience are required.
3. Age Requirement:
   • Must be between 25 and 65 years old.
4. Professional Driving Permit (PDP):
   • Must still be valid for at least 3 months from the date of application.
5. Documentation:
   • Bring your original ID, driver’s licences, and passport (if applicable).
6. References:
   • Ensure you have contactable references from previous employers to verify your driving experience and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

As a Professional Long-Distance Driver at Hestony Transport, your responsibilities will include:

• Safely operating 24-ton, 30-ton, or 36-ton vehicles for long-distance routes.
• Ensuring the secure loading and unloading of cargo at various destinations.
• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
• Adhering to road safety regulations and company policies at all times.
• Maintaining accurate delivery documentation and logbooks.
• Communicating effectively with dispatchers and customers during trips.
• Representing Hestony Transport professionally on and off the road.
