Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Bus Driver to ensure the safe and timely transportation of employees between their residential areas and the workplace. Join our team and play a vital role in supporting our daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
As a Staff Bus Driver, your responsibilities will include:
- Safely transporting staff to and from work according to the scheduled times.
- Conducting thorough vehicle inspections and completing a pre-start checklist at the beginning of each shift.
- Monitoring oil and fuel levels, promptly reporting any leaks or irregularities.
- Adhering strictly to the company’s operational safety protocols at all times.
- Reporting all incidents, accidents, and unsafe conditions to the Driver Controller immediately.
- Ensuring full compliance with company rules, traffic regulations, and vehicle maintenance standards.
- Reporting any vehicle defects or issues for timely resolution.
- Taking on additional duties as assigned to support operational needs.
Qualifications and Experience
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a valid Class 1 Driver’s Licence.
- Possess a Defensive Driving Certificate.
- Have a valid re-test certification.
- Be medically fit with a valid medical certificate.
- Be between the ages of 35 and 45 years.
- Have at least 5 years of relevant driving experience.
