This full-time position offers a secure and steady working environment with a fixed vehicle assigned to you. Located conveniently in Copenhagen Ø near Sibeliusgade and Svanemøllen Station, you’ll be responsible for transporting shipping containers to and from the Copenhagen Malmo Port (CMP) and our clients across Zealand.

Position Details:
- Work Hours: Full-time, 5 days a week
- Work Schedule: Primarily daytime hours, with the expectation of flexibility for early starts
- Location: Starting point in Sibeliusgade, København Ø, close to Svanemøllen Station
- Transport Scope: Container transport primarily within Zealand, originating from CMP
In this role, you’ll be assigned a fixed vehicle, ensuring you have a familiar “base” to work from every day. We prioritise stability for our drivers, believing that consistency in your vehicle and routes contributes to a smoother and safer experience on the road.
Responsibilities:
- Container Collection and Delivery: Picking up shipping containers from CMP and delivering them across designated locations within Zealand.
- Vehicle Care and Maintenance: Ensuring the assigned truck is kept in optimal condition, reporting any issues promptly to maintain the highest safety standards.
- Customer Interaction: Serving as the face of Ancotrans, providing polite and professional service to clients at each delivery location.
- Documentation and Compliance: Managing transport documentation, ensuring timely and accurate completion in adherence to company and regulatory standards.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
We are looking for a driver with a solid foundation in safe and responsible driving, who can represent Ancotrans professionally. Familiarity with container transport is advantageous, though not a requirement, as we are prepared to provide full training to ensure you’re comfortable and ready before you hit the road solo.
Qualifications and Requirements:
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:
- Relevant Licenses:
- Category C/E Driving License: Essential for operating heavy vehicles.
- EU Qualification Certificate: Required for driving within Denmark.
- Tachograph Card: For compliance with driver hour regulations.
- ADR Certification (Cargo/Tank): Not mandatory, but an advantage.
- Language Proficiency:
- Proficiency in Danish (spoken, written, and comprehension), as some customer interactions and documents will be in Danish.
- Personal Attributes:
- Reliability and Punctuality: Dependability is crucial, especially given the early start times typical in transport.
- Flexible Mindset: Ability to adapt to varied daily demands and occasional schedule adjustments.
- Professionalism and Service Orientation: As a representative of Ancotrans, the ability to interact with clients in a positive and helpful manner is essential.
