🔍 Job Overview
Midvaal Local Municipality is hiring a skilled and responsible Truck Driver (Code EC) to operate skip trucks, tippers, and compactors within the Waste Management and Sanitation Division. This is a permanent municipal post offering stable employment and benefits.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe transport of municipal waste and materials, vehicle maintenance, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
✅ Minimum Requirements
- Grade 10 (Matric / Grade 12 is an added advantage)
- Valid Code EC (Code 14) Driver’s Licence with Public Driving Permit (PDP)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within a Local Government Authority
- Physically fit and disciplined with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow strict route, safety, and maintenance protocols
