Job Summary:

Sysco Pittsburgh, LLC, a global leader in foodservice distribution, is currently hiring for the position of CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver. We are seeking dependable drivers to safely and efficiently operate tractor-trailers while manually unloading and delivering various products including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, and dry goods to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. As a CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver, you will build strong relationships with our customers, ensuring their needs and expectations are met through your positive and friendly attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer for local deliveries.
• Manually unload products and ensure timely delivery to customer locations.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers by providing exceptional service.
• Maintain compliance with all DOT and Sysco safety standards.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to lift, push, or move products weighing between 40-100 pounds repeatedly.
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Preferred Requirements:

• 1 year of customer delivery experience.
• 6 months of experience using a hand cart/hand truck.
• 6 months of experience in the food and beverage industry.
• 2 years of consistent work history.
