Air Products South Africa, a leader in the manufacturing and supply of industrial and specialty gases, is looking for a dependable and safety-conscious Driver Assistant to join their Packaged Gases team in Kempton Park.
The ideal candidate will support our drivers and distribution operations by ensuring full compliance with road safety, Dangerous Goods legislation, and vehicle readiness. 📋 Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Valid, unendorsed Code EC driver’s licence with a valid PrDP (PrDPd)
- Dangerous Goods Certificate is essential
- 3–5 years’ experience operating heavy-duty vehicles
- Experience in handling or transporting hazardous materials/gases is highly advantageous
- Mechanically minded with a good understanding of vehicle maintenance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Must be physically fit and able to manage manual tasks safely
