🏗️ Job Purpose
PPC is seeking a responsible and experienced Mixer Driver to join our Pronto team in Rosslyn. The successful candidate will operate a mixer truck for the delivery of ready-mix concrete to both industrial and residential sites under varying road and terrain conditions.
This role plays a crucial part in ensuring timely and safe concrete deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of vehicle care, professionalism, and customer service.
✅ Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Valid Code EC (Code 14) driver’s licence
- Valid PrDP (Public Driver’s Permit)
- Mixer driver certification (External operating certificate is essential)
- At least 3 years’ experience operating a concrete mixer truck
- Ability to operate different gearboxes (Straight, Semi-Auto, Split Gearbox)
- Proven ability to read, write, and perform basic calculations
- Must be physically fit and able to handle repetitive tasks
- Good interpersonal skills and strong customer orientation
- Demonstrated responsibility, reliability, and integrity
