Interstate Bus Lines (IBL) is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for Bus Driver positions based in Bloemfontein, Botshabelo and Thaba Nchu. This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking to build a career in the passenger transport industry.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Grade 8 or equivalent qualification.
• Valid Code EC, EC1, C or equivalent driver’s licence.
• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience driving buses or heavy motor vehicles.
• Good employment record and working history.
• Strong numerical skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Additional Requirements

Candidates must:

• Be willing to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays where required.
• Be reliable, trustworthy, and responsible.
• Be in good physical health.
• Be willing to relocate to Bloemfontein, Botshabelo, or Thaba Nchu if necessary.

• Transport passengers safely and efficiently along designated routes.
• Adhere to all road traffic regulations and company safety procedures.
• Conduct vehicle inspections before and after trips.

• Ensure the cleanliness and roadworthiness of assigned vehicles.
• Complete required operational and trip documentation accurately.
