Job Overview

Motus Daimler Trucks Polokwane is looking for a responsible and safety-conscious Heavy Duty Driver to join its commercial vehicle dealership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting vehicles between customers, suppliers, branches, and other designated locations while ensuring professional customer service and adherence to company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect vehicles from customers, suppliers, and other Motus branches.
• Deliver vehicles safely to customers, suppliers, roadworthy centres, and other approved destinations.
• Move and position vehicles within the dealership premises as required.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Ensure all vehicles are transported and handled with care.
• Assist customers with vehicle collections and provide professional support when required.
• Report all accidents, incidents, traffic violations, or vehicle damage immediately to the Dealer Principal.
• Ensure compliance with all road traffic regulations and company policies.
• Assist with operational duties and work overtime when required.
• Support dealership activities to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) or NQF Level 4 qualification.
• Valid South African Code 14 (EC) Driver’s Licence.
• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP/PDP).
• Clear criminal record.
• Good understanding of road safety regulations and driving best practices.
• Previous heavy vehicle or commercial vehicle driving experience will be advantageous.
