Job Overview

Motus Sinotruk Midrand is seeking a reliable and professional Heavy Duty Driver to join its commercial vehicle dealership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting vehicles safely between customers, suppliers, branches, and other required destinations while ensuring excellent customer service and compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect vehicles from customers, suppliers, and other Motus branches.
• Deliver vehicles safely to customers, suppliers, branches, roadworthy centres, and other required locations.
• Assist with vehicle movements within the dealership premises.
• Ensure vehicles are handled with care and transported according to company procedures.
• Conduct basic vehicle checks before and after transportation.
• Assist customers with vehicle collections and provide professional support when required.
• Report all accidents, incidents, traffic offences, or vehicle-related concerns immediately to the Dealer Principal.
• Take vehicles for roadworthy inspections as required.
• Comply with all road traffic laws, safety regulations, and dealership policies.
• Perform overtime and additional duties when operationally required.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) or NQF Level 4 qualification.
• Valid South African Code 14 (EC) Driver’s Licence.
• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP/PDP).
• Clear criminal record.
• Previous heavy-duty driving or vehicle transportation experience will be advantageous.
• Good knowledge of road safety regulations and vehicle handling procedures.
