Are you an experienced truck driver ready to take on a challenging role with one of South Africa’s leading logistics companies? Unitrans is seeking reliable and safety-conscious Ultra-Heavy Motor Vehicle Drivers to distribute goods to various clients across the Gauteng region.
If you take pride in your driving skills, understand road safety protocols, and can manage ultra-heavy loads with precision, then this opportunity is for you.
🎯 Key Purpose
To ensure the efficient, safe, and timely delivery of goods using ultra-heavy-duty vehicles such as manual FAW trucks. The driver will be responsible for pre-trip inspections, documentation handling, customer engagement, and adherence to safety and traffic regulations.
✅ Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 (or Grade 10 with strong literacy and numeracy)
- Valid Code EC driver’s license with a Professional Driving Permit (PrDP – DGP)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience driving ultra-heavy vehicles
- Proven experience with manual gear FAW trucks
- Must be 25 years or older
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Clean criminal record and strong safety track record
