Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Safely operating and driving company delivery trucks.
• Conducting pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensuring roadworthiness.
• Delivering goods accurately and on time.
• Maintaining delivery records, mileage logs, and fuel consumption reports.
• Reporting vehicle defects and maintenance requirements.
• Ensuring compliance with traffic regulations and company policies.
• Keeping the vehicle clean, organised, and properly equipped.
• Using appropriate PPE and following workplace safety procedures.
• Communicating professionally with customers and team members.
• Attending operational meetings, coaching sessions, and training programmes.
• Supporting the achievement of team and operational goals.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this opportunity, applicants must have:

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
• Valid Code 14 (EC) driver’s licence.
• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
• 3 to 5 years of driving experience.
• Previous FMCG retail driving experience will be advantageous.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
