Job Overview

A vacancy is available for an experienced Code 14 Driver with a valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP). The employer is looking for a responsible, safety-conscious, and reliable individual with experience operating heavy motor vehicles.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

• Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics.
• Valid Code 14 (EC) driver’s licence.
• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
• Between 1 and 3 years of heavy vehicle driving experience.
• Good knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly.
• Good communication and time management skills.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Safely transporting goods to designated destinations.
• Conducting daily vehicle inspections before and after trips.
• Ensuring compliance with road traffic legislation and company safety policies.
• Maintaining accurate delivery and vehicle documentation.
• Reporting any vehicle defects, incidents or delays promptly.
• Keeping the assigned vehicle clean and roadworthy.
• Delivering excellent customer service during collections and deliveries.
